Founder & CEO of Engram Labs
Neville Crawley is the founder and CEO of Engram Labs, which develops next-generation trading technologies.
Prior to founding Engram Labs in 2017, Neville was CEO of Quid, Inc., which develops artificial intelligence software. Quid software makes sense of very large unstructured datasets in a visual way by combining advanced machine learning and high-performance graph visualization into one end-user product. Neville grew Quid into a leading technology company with clients that include the U.S. Department of Defense, IBM, Walmart, and BCG. Quid was named World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and garnered features in Forbes , Bloomberg, the Financial Times, and The Economist.
Previously, Neville was on the executive team at Gerson Lehrman Group (“GLG”), the leading global marketplace for on-demand on intelligence. GLG makes a market between individuals with high-value information and perspectives and those who can benefit from it, such as hedge funds and private equity firms. Earlier in his career, Neville worked in McKinsey’s corporate finance practice — the intersection of finance and high technology — to build out new service lines serving stock exchanges, sovereign wealth funds and central banks. He was the founder and publisher of several leading business and finance publications in China and led commercial operations of an early social media platform to a successful exit.
Neville earned an MBA in business from London Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts from Manchester Metropolitan University. Neville also studied Chinese language and literature at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
